CAR RENTAL AGREEMENT – HOLLYWOODRENTALCAR

Payment Method:
The vehicle will be reserved upon payment of 30% of the total rental amount (payable at the time of booking). The remaining 70% must be paid upon delivery of the vehicle.
Security Deposit / Guarantee:
A refundable security deposit of $1,200,000 COP is required to cover possible fines or penalties (payable upon receiving the vehicle). This deposit serves as a guarantee in case of traffic fines or sanctions issued during the rental period. If no violations arise, the deposit will be refunded to THE LESSEE within 5 business days, after verification with the transit authority system.
Vehicle Delivery and Return Conditions:
The vehicle shall be delivered by THE LESSOR to THE LESSEE in good working condition, with a full fuel tank, a spare tire, and basic tools.
THE LESSEE must return the vehicle to THE LESSOR at the agreed location, on the agreed date and time, with a full fuel tank, clean (interior and exterior), and without damages other than normal wear and tear. Failure to comply shall result in additional charges to be paid by THE LESSEE.
Authorized Use and Prohibitions:
THE LESSEE agrees to use the vehicle properly and exclusively for private use within Colombian territory, and may not, without the prior authorization of THE LESSOR:
• Sublet, transfer, or hand over the vehicle to third parties outside the terms of this Agreement.
• Use the vehicle for paid passenger or goods transportation, competitions, transporting hazardous materials, or illegal activities.
• Take the vehicle outside the country.
• Make modifications to the vehicle.
• Drive under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or psychotropic substances, or allow a person without a valid driver’s license to drive the vehicle.
Force Majeure and Acts of God:
The parties agree that, in the event of an accident, collision, incident, fire, theft, intervention by authorities, or similar situations, such events do not exempt THE LESSEE from payment of the rental fee until the vehicle is returned, unless otherwise agreed in writing. THE LESSEE accepts full responsibility for any adjustments, charges, or repairs to the vehicle, acknowledging that THE LESSOR shall not be liable under any circumstance.
Both parties authorize the processing of their personal data for the purposes of this Agreement, in accordance with current Colombian data protection regulations.
For all legal and extrajudicial purposes of this Agreement, the parties establish the jurisdiction of Medellín, Department of Antioquia (Colombia) and submit to the provisions of the **Colombian Commercial Code, the Colombian Civil Code, and other applicable regulations.
